I get dead ends really quickly on my hair, but I'm trying to grow it out. What can I do besides

I don't want to have to keep constantly cutting my hair because I'm already having difficulty growing it out. I need something that will help with my dead ends!!!

I know you are trying to grow it out, but your hair still needs to have the split dead ends trimmed at least every 4-6 weeks. If you don't those dead ends will just accumulate and all your new length will just be dead and need to be cut off anyways.

I also use Biosilk Silk Therapy (get it at a salon) about $14.00 for a bottle, the bottle goes a long way. I use that on my ends it helps make them "look" better but does not get rid of them.

nothing gets rid of split ends. you can try heavy conditioner to minimize their appearance but only regular hair cuts will work

I have the same prob, I used to use hair serum - like Biosilk, keep it on your ends, try not to use alot of gel or hairspray on your hair - let me know if you find something that helps LOL

Deep condition once or twice weekly. For best results, put conditioner in dry hair and wrap a hot towel (heated in microwave), take towel off and reheat and repeat three times, leave it in for an hour, overnight if possible. Mayonnaise is a great intensive conditioner btw.

Use a leave in conditioner also.

Rub a bit of Johnson's baby oil into the ends of your hair every week or so. It works!

Pay attention to the products you use. I used to leave on conditioner and noticed more split ends.

I wash my hair every other day to to help it stay healthy and shiny ( i got this trick from an asian women who washes her hair 1 day out of a week and she has very beautiful hair).

Well you will have to keep cutting it. But the good news is, if you take better care of your hair there will be less to cut. Start with buying a good shampoo (if it's too cheap it may have chemicals that are bad for your hair) and condition the ends of your hair if not all of it. It makes mine too greasy to do the whole thing, but the ends I still do. Try to limit products like gels and hairsprays if you can as well as heat. IE curling, straitening, blow drying. I put a spray in my hair after I shower to help with damage. You can find them at like a Sally's Beauty Supply store (or look around for something similar if you don't have one near you). Ask someone who works their about what you can use to help. They have a placenta spray that is really good for your hair. Sounds gross, but helps. And if you want you can buy deep conditioning treatments to do every other week or so. Anyways good luck and I hope I've helped!

hi! i had that problem too:(

I wanted to have a long hair, BUT my ends were really dead, dead.

So, when you wash your hair, use herbal shampoos, and try SUNSILK regeneration cream. IT'S THE BEST:)

Lots of luck (vote for me...joking):)
