My facial shape is oval and I'm slim (including my face) so it didn't really matter much. The type of hairstyle is very important for the type of face you have. If you have a round face, cutting it too short will make your face look rounder, thus will make you appear fatter.

yes...ive experience dat a lot of times...when you have longer hair, it tends to cover some parts of ur skin/face where you look much thinner...when you shorten your hair, more skin will be more exposed, making you look fatter...it is all an optical illusion actually, they say that you've become fatter but actually, more skin is just uncovered...hehe...
