Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

Nerve endingd in skin, not in hair or nails

Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

your hairs and nails are dead cells

skin is alive

Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

I don't think there are nerves in hair and nails.

Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

Your skin is alive, your hair and nails are dead...

Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

I think its because of the nervous system and that that nails and hairs dont have any nerves "sensors"

like our skin and other parts of our body that uses paracrine signaling!!!!!

paracrine signaling is the method of cell communication that our nervous system uses

hope this helps

Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

The skin has nerve tt able to sense touch but not for hair and nail. Hair and nail are just dead cells.

Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

Your hair and nails have no nerves so they can't feel pain, but your skin does.

Why does cutting your skin hurt, but cutting your hair and nails doesnt hurt?

OOOOOOKAY.

have you heard this before, "The more you smoke marijuana, the fatser your hair grows."??

Because It [in my mind] is true.

By smoking Marijuana; you are killing off brain cells; and by that.. making your hair grow.

YOU SEE?

:]
